In recent years, more and more international retailers, especially from Poland, have chosen Romania to set up their new distribution centers. This means that a pair of shoes will reach us faster, and that others will go from here to our neighbors in Bulgaria, Croatia or Greece.

Along with sales, the need for warehouses also increased. The growing demand for new warehouse space came primarily from fashion and consumer goods companies, as well as from logistics companies.
The logistics and industrial market in Romania is set to reach over 7 million square meters of inventory this year. To get a better idea of what all those square meters of food, clothing, electronics and other goods are storing, imagine 1,000 football fields. Lands full of shelves of goods, packaging lines and robots moving goods.
It seems like a lot, but in this regard, Romania is still far from the countries of Eastern Europe: Poland exceeds us by four times, and the Czech Republic has more than 10 million square meters of industrial and logistics space.
