150 euro vouchers for program beneficiaries activated “Tourism for all” who were selected by the January draw.

In a message between kathimerini.gr and the Ministry of Tourism, it was indicated that the activation of the vouchers had already started a week ago. However, several beneficiaries reported that they received emails and SMS from Alpha Bank or Viva Wallet last night to activate the cards.

In any case, digital cards can now be used and used in properties until the end of June.

What about a digital card?

We remind you that the use of an intangible digital debit card is carried out exclusively with electronic transactions or through a device that supports contactless transaction technology, that is, through a website or electronic platform that allows direct debiting of an intangible digital debit card by filling in information, or using an application on an electronic a device that supports the function of contactless transactions by wirelessly connecting two devices by simply touching or approaching them (NFC technology – Near Field Communication).

To top up a card using contactless transaction technology, it must be supported by the user’s telephone device.

The digital card can be used at any hotel or accommodation in the country from the moment of its activation until 06/30/2023. The exchange can only be made when staying in Greece, so it cannot be used in companies located abroad, travel agencies, restaurants, ferry/airline or bus tickets, etc.

There are no restrictions on the number of overnight stays, nor on the period that the recipient chooses to use their individual digital voucher. The only condition is that the total amount of the contactless payment must not exceed 150 euros (or 200 euros for the disabled).

The recipient can use the €150 amount once, but they can “split” the total amount and use it in different time periods as they wish.
