The distribution in the regional profile in the IV quarter of 2022 compared to the IV quarter of 2021 shows a decrease in the number of finished houses in the following development regions: Bucharest-Ilfov (-2384 houses), West (-299), South -Muntenia (-86) and North – East (-19).

The increase occurred in the following development regions, namely: North-West (+813 dwellings), South-East (+526), ​​Center (+112) and South-West Oltenia (+91).

2022 vs. 2021

In 2022, 73,332 houses were completed, which is 1,927 more than in 2021.

The situation with the residential environment in 2022 compared to 2021 shows a decrease in the share of completed housing in the urban environment (from 59.5% in 2021 to 54.7% in 2022) and growth in rural areas (from 40.5% in 2021 to 45.3% in 2022).

Also, the breakdown of built housing by means of financing shows that in 2022, compared to 2021, the number of houses built with private funds increased (+2167 houses), while the number of houses built with state funds decreased (- 240). housing).

The regional distribution in 2022 compared to 2021 shows an increase in the number of completed houses in the following development regions: North-West (+1389 houses), South-East (+1235), Center (+590), South-West Oltenia (+464) and Southern Muntenia (+260). The decrease was recorded in the following development regions: West (-918 dwellings), Bucharest-Ilfov (-682) and Northeast (-411).
