More than 55,000 long-term unemployed received State Employment Service (DYPA) “bonus” of 300 euros, established last summer along with the law on the modernization of the former UAED. Already yesterday, DYPA credited the accounts of 8,122 unsubsidized, long-term unemployed who created a digital Individual Action Plan (IPA) a one-time allowance of 300 euros. Payments appear on recipients’ accounts within 1-2 business days after they are paid. Thus, the total allowance was paid to 55,634 beneficiaries.
According to the administration of the service, the “bonus” was established by the “Jobs Again” law (p. 4921/2022) with the aim of activating the long-term unemployed and those who have been out of the labor market for more than five years by creating an updated digital ASD, based on which they will be able to direct themselves to action to develop their employability and job search.
As a reminder, the beneficiaries of the new benefit are the long-term unemployed who:
“They have completed continuous registered unemployment for more than five years, and then they are preparing a digital ASD.
– Singles have an income of up to 16,000 euros, married 24,000 euros (an increase of 3,000 euros per child) or 27,000 euros in single-parent families (an increase of 3,000 euros per child).
Potential beneficiaries must log in to a special platform set up at www.gov.gr with Taxisnet codes, register or update their bank account (IBAN) details for the benefit, as well as their marital status.
If the conditions are met, the payment is made automatically to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
Those unemployed who have already developed an Individual Action Plan (IPA) should convert it to a digital IAP. In particular, they enter DYPA electronic services with Taxisnet codes and validate or update the ASD data so that it becomes a digital ASD.
Those who are not yet eligible for ASD should make an appointment with an employment counselor at the Employment Assistance Center (KPA2) in their area, either by video conference (MyDYPAlive) or by phone.
