Plaisio will invest more than 30 million euros over the next three years to maintain its leadership as an innovative retail company.

The network, chaired by George Gerardos, which posted its highest growth rate in fifteen years in 2021, remains committed to delivering a personalized experience to customers. This is achieved through a combination of low prices, providing the highest quality products, maintaining a high level of service and comprehensive customer support after purchase (after-sales support).

The “key”, of course, to maintaining a competitive advantage is the new investments that the company’s management is seeking to make in the logistics of both large and small devices in software and hardware. As well as strengthening the e-commerce platform, further upgrading the information infrastructure, and rumors of expanding activities in “white hat” devices. Plaisio’s next investment steps include the renewal and/or creation of new stores.

In 1995, Plaisio became the first retail chain in Greece to offer consumers multiple service channels. At the same time, he believes that the future of retail is inextricably linked to seamless omnichannel experiences that allow the shopper to shop and pick up items anytime, anywhere.

Another novelty for Plaisio is related to the logistics sector. Two new delivery services were launched last year. The first one includes real-time tracking of the progress of the delivery, combined with informing the customer via SMS 30 minutes before the delivery of the order. The second is related to the evening delivery service from 17:00 to 22:00.

It is worth noting that the company has been present on the Internet with an online store since 1999.
