Several Microsoft apps, including Teams and Outlook, had issues this morning. Data from Downdetector.com shows that the maximum number of notifications for Teams was around 10 o’clock, and there were users who reported that they also had problems working in Romania.
Downdetector data shows that Teams issues started around 9am and peaked around 10am, after which the reports disappeared.
Outlook had the highest number of users reporting performance issues at 9:30 AM, followed by 10 AM.
The most problems were recorded in India, Japan, Australia, Great Britain and the United Arab Emirates.
Microsoft says it will investigate the cause of the problems and cites potential network issues and the need to reanalyze the telemetry to see what steps need to be taken to resolve the errors.
For several tens of minutes, users could not send messages or hold conferences in the Teams application, which is important in schools, some companies and various institutions. Teams has approximately 280 million users worldwide.
Applications such as Xbox Live, Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business were also affected.
