Democracy alone does not ensure development, it is necessary to observe the rules of the society and sound management, which also ensures democracy.

As we approach the end of the 30-year growth cycle in 2023-2024, the times ahead will be radically different from those we have experienced so far. Demographic, environmental, economic and technological changes will determine the axes along which the world will live in the coming decades. These developments, both individually and at the state level, will create new opportunities that will benefit communities and states by improving the way we live and work and help us thrive. However, at the same time, these developments will create new challenges as they test the ability of governments and economies to adapt, making the necessary changes so that they can participate in the next upward economic cycle. Greece must develop its own vision to become a strong and prosperous country.

The overall power of the country is the result of the development of certain parameters – forces in the following order: education, ingenuity and development of innovative technologies, competitiveness of goods and services in world markets, economic production, share in world trade, military power. , financial center strength for capital markets and currency strength.

Education is a key factor in long-term power. A better education usually leads to more active development of innovations and technologies.

The citizens of the country must have a strong education that teaches not only knowledge and skills, but also strong character, kindness, work ethic, development of human relations, development of virtues, cooperation, contribution to society, etc., etc., which ensures respect for the rules and laws, order in society, low level of corruption and allows them to unite around a common vision and work harmoniously together.

Without advances in knowledge, science and technology, the future is particularly difficult. In the coming years, global competition will intensify, and the key technology elements that provide technological superiority, such as talent, knowledge, and markets, have the potential to lead to the emergence of new technology leaders. The triumph will come only through the inclusion of the new. The public and private sectors must be awakened to the use of artificial intelligence, 3D printing, new materials technologies, biotechnology and other technologies of the 4th technological revolution in everyday life. Artificial intelligence, through the invention of “smart autonomous” less expensive defense systems (swarms of drones, etc.), through increased cooperation in the field of security, technology and defense, can strengthen the country and employ a significant skilled workforce. In the new era of the “data economy”, digital technologies and algorithms will be used to perform complex tasks without human intervention.

The world is becoming multi-layered, changing, taking on different forms and paths. Diversity is the characteristic of our country and wealth. Everyone should be able to test their ideas and abilities. But no one should be abandoned if they fail.

The role of a leader should be to lead by example, proper planning, perseverance and patience. He must show the way, chart the course, and persevere to the end. The leader must fully and clearly describe in vivid colors his vision for the future of the country, translate this vision into a policy in order to convince people to follow it and, finally, inspire them so that everyone contributes with their individual efforts. in realizing the vision. In 2023 voters expect a vision!
