A controversial cybersecurity bill that would expand the powers of the DSR and introduce maximum fines of 200,000 lei to 10% of turnover for failure to report cyber incidents was passed on Monday with all amendments rejected.   • The draft law submitted to the Chamber of Deputies on December 15 was adopted today by the Chamber of Deputies 180 votes “for”, 39 “against”, 47 “abstentions”.
