The employer is obliged to inform the employees about their rights according to the Labor Code. They must also record in employment contracts any benefits provided in the form of subscription/health insurance, private pensions or other benefits that employers provide to employees.
These things were introduced by Law 283/2022.
In this sense, says fiscal consultant Adrian Benza, taking into account these changes, the Ministry of Labor updated the model of the employment contract.

“We remind you that all the minimum elements within this model are mandatory when employers use other types of employment contracts. To the extent that the new employment contract contains elements that already exist between employees and employers, existing employment contracts must be supplemented with additional documents,” Benza says.
