In total, from the beginning of the year to September 2022, the number of new business registrations reached 75,249 compared to 75,453 in the corresponding period of 2021, representing a slight decrease of 0.27%. In the first nine months of 2020, there were significantly fewer new business registrations, namely 59,177.
In the sectors of economic activity with the largest contribution to the total turnover, the largest increase in the number of new business registrations in the 3rd quarter of 2022 compared to the 3rd quarter of 2021 was recorded in the transport and warehousing sector (156.7%). and in the information and communication sector (27%), while the corresponding largest decline was recorded in the electricity, natural gas, steam and air conditioning sector (47.3%), as well as in the wholesale and retail trade sector, in the repair sector cars and motorcycles (8.7%). %).
Seven out of ten new enterprises (15,654) that began operations in the third quarter of 2022 were individual, about 11% were personal (sole or limited partnership), 1.63% (370 enterprises) were capital (that is, companies with limited liability companies or limited liability companies) and the remaining 18.27% or 4,139 companies belong to other legal forms (companies with private capital, joint ventures, etc.).
Most individual entrepreneurs belonged to the agricultural and fishing sector, most private enterprises – to the hotel industry and catering, most capital enterprises – to real estate management.
