On November 1, 2022, the process of digital inventory of working hours in the Ergani II information system began, i.e. working hours of employees of all companies-employers in the private sector of the country for all its employees, with a contract of wage dependent work, as highlighted in the relevant announcement.

In the context of this process, the employer announces for each employee the general elements of the employment relationship regarding working hours, as well as working hours in digital form, either as a fixed weekly or as a variable during the day. The census of workers can be carried out gradually (for example, for each outbuilding).

The process of digital inventory of working hours in the Ergani II information system should not be confused or identified with the mechanism of the Electronic Labor Card.

The application of the Electronic Labor Card mechanism will be the next stage of the process and will be carried out gradually, i.e. after the completion of the process of digital inventory of working hours in Ergani II of all employees with a contract of wage dependent labor. , as long as there is a dialogue with both the employer and employees and will act on what has already been announced, step by step. Especially:

The second stage of the implementation of the Digital Work Card concerns insurance companies and security companies. It will then be extended to industry and DEKO. Further, the remaining categories of entrepreneurial activity, which the government has already spoken about, will gradually be added. In any case, as already repeatedly emphasized, the Digital Work Card is applied after taking into account all the features and operational needs of each branch and having the operational provisions necessary each time for its smooth operation.

The General Secretariat for Labor Relations of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs takes the information initiative (by organizing workshops and/or seminars) in cooperation with the social partners, chambers and professional labor market bodies for the best and most convenient registration and census process of digital working time for all private sector workers in the country in PS ERGANI II.
