On Wednesday, the government will make two decisions aimed at investments of more than 6.1 billion lei for the development of railway infrastructure in the ports of Constanta and Galaţi, Prime Minister Nicolae Chuke said.

• “We have two decisions of the Government, by which we guarantee that we will continue the work on the development of infrastructure in the two relevant ports. We are talking about the port of Constanţa – we are discussing investments in the amount of more than 5 billion lei, which are specifically intended for the development of public services and the railway component, that is, about 250 km of railway.
• In the port of Galati, we are also discussing investments that will ensure the development of the multimodal transport component. The port of Galaţi has become especially relevant with the start of the conflict in Ukraine and the support that our country has achieved by resuming the railway from Galaţi to Giurgiulesti, but at the same time we must see the Apple project, with which we provide the connection between the rivers Danube and Rhine “, said the Prime Minister.
