
ALFA BANK S.A. which is based in Athens, at 40 Stadiou Street (PO 102 52) (hereinafter “Bank“) reports that November 7, 2022 the procedure for the sale and transfer of their claims on loans and / or consumer, commercial and housing loans (hereinafter “Requirements”) in accordance with Article 3 of Law 4354/2015.
Claims are submitted to a company called “HOIST FINANCE AB (publ)”, which is located in Sweden (PO Box 7848 103 99 Stockholm, Sweden) and is a company for the acquisition of claims for loans and credits in accordance with article 1. (1) (b )(bb) of Law 4354/2015 (hereinafter “Acquiring company”), while the management of transferred claims will continue to be carried out in accordance with Art. 1c of Law 4354/2015, by order and on behalf of the Acquiring Company, a company named “Cepal Hellas Financial Services Sole Proprietor for Loan and Credit Claims Management” (hereinafter “Management Company”) as already communicated with the respective separate updates sent to the borrowers and guarantors of the Claims.
Based on the foregoing, the Bank informs individuals associated with Claims in any capacity (indicative borrowers, guarantors, third-party pledgers, their direct or universal successors, representatives or proxies of the above persons, their lawyers or not, bailiffs, as well as persons, against whom the right to collect the transferred claim can be asserted (for example, third parties in whose hands a seizure can be made or against which a right of set-off can be exercised), that the above sale and transfer result in the transfer of personal data of the above persons to the Acquiring Company. In this regard, the Management Company will now process the above personal data for the purposes of managing claims on behalf of the Acquiring Company.
The specified transfer does not affect the position of debtors or other persons associated with the Accounts Receivable, as well as the terms of repayment of the relevant debt, including the method of payment, which is still carried out through the network of Bank Branches and digital networks.
For more detailed information about the processing of personal data, as well as how to exercise the relevant rights after the transfer is completed, the persons concerned can be informed by the Management Company through the latter’s website (http://www.cepal.gr/policy.html) .
With regard to the processing of personal data carried out by the Bank, the terms of their storage, as well as the rights arising from the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 679/2016), and the way they are exercised, the information specified in the Update refers to the Processing of Personal Data posted on the Bank’s website (https://apps.alpha.gr/GDPR/files/GDPR.pdf).
