• Until April 28, 2023 for all purchases placed before March 31, 2023 and provided that the required information is entered before April 15, 2023.

The benefit is provided on property that the beneficiaries use as their primary residence, whether it is rented, vacant or owner-occupied.

Specifically for the provision of a heating subsidy to consumers of wood and biomass (pellets), an additional condition is established that the property is located in a locality with a population equal to or less than 10,000 inhabitants. In order to provide thermal assistance to consumers of thermal energy through district heating, an additional condition is established that the property is located in one of the municipalities of Serres, Eordaya, Kozani, Amintaio or Megapolis.

Old beneficiaries

• Their annual total household income is up to €16,000 for a single person and €24,000 for a couple, which increases by €3,000 for each child.

• For a single parent family, income must not exceed 27,000 euros, which increases by 3,000 euros for each child after the first.

• The total value of the property must not exceed EUR 200,000 for unmarried persons and EUR 300,000 for married persons.

Benefit amount

Each beneficiary is provided with a subsidy for the purchase of subsidized fuels for heating and thermal energy from district heating, the amount of which is the amount of 350 euros multiplied by the subsidy coefficient for the locality in which the main place of residence is located, multiplied by 20% for each dependent child beneficiary.

The total amount cannot be less than 100 euros and cannot exceed the maximum amount of 800 euros. However, due to increased energy needs in settlements with low temperatures, the amount is increased by 25%, up to a maximum of 1,000 euros.

Applications must be submitted to the relevant platform by December 9th.

New beneficiaries

For new beneficiaries who did not receive benefits in the winter period 2021-2022, and those who refuse natural gas, last year’s income limits apply, but they will receive double benefits. In particular, the amount of the allowance is 700 euros multiplied by the subsidy rate per locality in which the main place of residence is located, increased by 20% for each child. The total amount cannot be less than 100 euros and cannot exceed 1600 euros.

In addition, specifically for beneficiaries who received a subsidy in the winter period 2021-2022. for natural gas and in 2022-2023. are entitled to a subsidy for the consumption of another type of fuel or heat energy through district heating, the amount of the subsidy is also 700 euros multiplied by the subsidy rate for the settlement.

Those who wish to apply through the myAADE app to join the heating allowance registry. The application shall include the following information, as appropriate:

– taxpayer identification number of the requesting person subject to the tax return.

– His first and last name.

– The number of his dependent children.

– An indication if this is an apartment building.

– Power supply number of the main residential building.

– The postal address corresponding to the particular electricity supply, if the property is owned, rented or provided free of charge, as well as the VAT number of the landlord.

– Square meters of the main areas of the main residence at the time of application.

– Type of fuel for heating or thermal energy, which it is desirable to subsidize.

– His contact details (e-mail address, mobile or landline phone number).
