The purpose of the visit is to extrovert the innovation ecosystem, showcase the favorable conditions currently created in Greece to attract investment, and mobilize and leverage outstanding Greek scientists, academics and business people working in the wider California area.

Contacts will include meetings with academics from Stanford, Berkeley, USF, high-tech entrepreneurs and executives, representatives of national investment and innovation promotion agencies operating in the US, and government officials.

The agenda of contacts also includes the creation of a network of communication and promotion of Greek startups in Silicon Valley, following the practice of most EU countries.

In addition, meetings are scheduled with expatriate associations where the Deputy Ministers will present the new business environment that exists in Greece, the emergence of an innovation ecosystem and the fact that our country is now a promising investment destination that attracts companies. with a global reach in innovation and new technologies.
