In more detail, seed oil increased by 56% in one year in Italy, butter by 42.9%, sugar by 35.9% and rice by 30.6%.

At the same time, long-term milk has risen in price by 29.4%, vegetables – by 25.1%, and flour – by 23.7% over the past twelve months.

The price increase for spaghetti reached 22.5%, eggs – 18.7%, and chicken prices increased by 18% compared to October 2021.

According to the Italian Consumers Association, in twelve months, the cost of energy on the free market has more than tripled, up 329%.

Unc President Masimilano Donna has finally predicted that, based on the latest rise in inflation, Italian households will be asked to spend an average of 3,324 euros more this year than last year.
