Start of the second stage of the application digital work cardwith the start of the census process of all employees, announced the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

At the same time, the ministry released statistics on the implementation of the digital card in the sectors (banks and supermarkets) from which the implementation of the measure began.

On Saturday, October 1, the electronic submission of the E4 form (annual staff list) to IS “ERGANI” will begin. In accordance with the relevant regulations and in accordance with the standard procedure, companies submit an annual staffing table (Form E4) to PS “EMPLOYEES”, where they record all information required by law for the workers they employ in relation to dependent work. The deadline for submitting the annual staffing table is 31 October.

From November 1 to November 30, 2022, the process of inventorying the digital organization of working time will be carried out by all employers in the country (included in the second stage of the implementation of the Digital Work Card) and all their employees who have contractual or dependent labor relations, including seconded personnel.

After completing the process of inventorying working hours in P.S. ERGANI will display the planned working hours for each employee, branch or company in a digital calendar format.

The mechanism for organizing working time in P.S. “ERGANI” keeps track of the working time schedule, declared overtime work and the issuance of permits in a single structured format, with the ability to process and display the working time schedule per day, in the format of a digital calendar. The digital calendar will be immediately available to the employee through the myERGani mobile app as well as through the myERGani employee information web portal (https://myERGani.gov.gr).

The digital labor card has been fully implemented since July last year in the banking sector and supermarkets, which employ more than 250 employees.

The Digital Labor Card is used by 111,220 workers in the two sectors, which corresponds to 94.74% of all responsible workers, which is 117,390 people (121,313 employees minus 3,923 people in positions of responsibility that are excluded from the Digital Card).

The application rate in supermarkets is 95.93% as the Card is used by 84,622 employees out of a total of 88,209 (89,107 minus 898 employees in responsible positions). In five chains, the percentage reaches 100%.

In banks, the Digital Job Card is used by 26,598 out of 29,181 employees (32,206 minus 3,025 in responsible positions), i.e. percentage 91.15%. In 14 credit institutions, the application rate is 100%.

“The fact that the implementation rate has not yet reached 100% is mainly due to the introduction, especially in banks, of a remote work / telework system, the introduction of voluntary exit schemes, (according to which the process of informing P. “ERGANI” regarding the decision of the relevant employment contracts), in cases of long holidays, as well as the fact that very few companies have not yet begun to implement the measure, ”the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs clarifies.

At the same time, the ministry specifically notifies the few enterprises that have not adapted that from October 1, checks on the implementation of the Digital Labor Card will be carried out and sanctions will be introduced, provided for by the relevant decree of the ministry.
