Over 700 complaints about fake and falsified receipts mentioned AADE through the application “appodixi”, which since yesterday works through mobile phones. The financial incentive for those who spot the fake receipt seems to be working, with 399 anonymous complaints and 327 named complaints filed in less than 24 hours. All complaints are evaluated and reviewed by AADE to determine if they are in fact receipts issued by counterfeit cash registers or if there is some other problem.
Reports made to AADE show that:
– In some cases, the value of the receipt was less than the amount paid. That is, the receipt received by the consumer indicated the actual amount of the payment, for example, 20 euros, while in AADE the item transferred by the company had a lower value.
– In another case, the tax mechanism was not declared to the tax office.
In less than 24 hours, 399 anonymous and 327 named complaints were filed through the appodixi app.
– It was found that the catering company delayed the transfer of check details to AADE (in the catering company, the transfer time is three hours from the moment of issue). This is established by the conclusion drawn up by the consumer. In particular, after the check was scanned, the message said the following: Cashier is active and declared. If the pickup time is before 09:30, please send an NDR. It is noted that the receipt was issued at 08.30.
Based on data from the first day of the launch of the new application, it has been established that taxpayers contribute to the reduction of tax evasion, having, of course, an incentive in the form of a bonus that can be up to 2,000 euros. According to the information, the amount will be many times higher than the cost of the receipt, perhaps up to ten times, but not more than 2,000 euros. A necessary condition for the payment of the amount is the establishment during the verification of the fact of tax evasion.
The application works on mobile phones (google play store and to App Store), and consumers are given the opportunity to check the details and validity of the receipt they receive as part of their transaction by scanning the QR code on it with their mobile phone. The data will then be automatically sent to the AADE system and the consumer will be informed of the result of the verification and, if a violation is found, they will be able to report confirmation to AADE.
If, as a result of the verification, it is established that the receipt is not genuine, and a personal report is drawn up in the AADE, with confirmation of the fine, the taxpayer-applicant will receive an amount that is a multiple of the value of the receipt.
With this application, AADE will be informed about tax evasion businesses in a timely and reasonable manner and will be able to immediately take legal action to protect the public interest.
