Cătălin Prisăcariu, head of TVR news, will leave Romanian television from September 1, the media page writes.
“At the beginning of August, I informed the management of SRTV that for personal reasons I will be resigning from my position within a few weeks, but I cannot say the exact date that was agreed upon for the departure,” Prisecariu told Pagina de Media.
At the beginning of the week, the journalist accused Prisekaria of “unjustified verbal aggression”. Magdalena Moreh said Prisekariou “launched a cascade of insults and slanders.” For his part, Presekariou said the meeting was intense because the journalist “showed a degree of serious incompetence and scum” and that “she is an expert in unexcused absenteeism”.
