Contests are constantly being added PPP projects in the corresponding list, which now includes dozens of projects with a total budget of 3 billion euros, and by the end of the year it is possible that this amount may even increase to 5 billion euros. The total value of the most recently completed projects is around 130 million euros. Particularly during the week Interdepartmental Committee on PPP approved the project “Khochlakia N. Lasithi Reservoir and related projects – Dam Ag. Ioannis Ierapetra N. Lasithiou”, the total investment in which is estimated at 82 million euros. A few weeks earlier, a project for the construction and management of five new police headquarters buildings was also approved, with a total investment of 50 million euros. The contractor, which will emerge from a tender to be announced in the coming weeks, will undertake the construction and management of five new buildings that will house the police headquarters in Evros, Lefkada, Karditsa, Imathia and Achaia. The list of next projects to be put up for auction also includes two important road projects relating to the Drama-Amfipoli and Thessaloniki-Edessa axes. The budget of the first project is 275 million euros, and the second – 300 million euros. At the same time, two new courthouses in Thessaly and Crete, with an estimated budget of 200 million euros, are up for auction. New tenders are also expected for the construction of the Enipea dams in Farsala, and the Corfu water supply project will also be promoted through PPP. Recall that the projects of the external water supply system of Attica and the Khavria dam in Halkidiki have already been put up for auction.

In early September, the submission of binding proposals for the PPP project for the construction of 16 school buildings in Thessaloniki and a music school in Katerini is also scheduled. This is a project of about 160 million euros. PPP tenders for the construction of new student residences and educational infrastructure for the universities of Crete, Thessaly and Thrace are estimated to be at an advanced stage. The largest project is promoted by the University of Crete and its cost is 230 million euros. It provides for the construction of 3,000 student dormitories, of which 2,000 will be located in Rethymno and the remaining 1,000 in Heraklion. GEK TERNA, Aktor Perachorises, Avax, Archirodon, Intrakat and the Mytileneos consortium – ATESE apply for the project.
