
Share prices recovered in today’s stock exchange session after a significant loss recorded last Friday on the back of an upward movement in European markets, while the market returned to the 860 mark. Despite gains, turnover hovered low, with Ellactor, Lamda Developent and Piraeus stocks standing out against the backdrop of high caps.
The general price index closed at 860.32 points, recording an increase of 1.31%. The transaction value was EUR 39.45 million, with 18,352,296 shares sold.
The large-cap index rose 1.37%, while the mid-cap index rose 0.47%.
Of the highly capitalized stocks, Ellactor (+7.02%), Lamda Development (+5.36%), Piraeus (+4.56%), Mytileneos (+2.63%), Alpha Bank (+2, 51%) and OPAP (+2.48%).
On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded in the shares of Sarantis (-1.45%) and PPC (-0.43%).
Ellactor, Lamda Developent and Piraeus stood out against the background of high capitalization.
Of the individual indices, real estate (+4.75%) and construction (+2.58%), while trade (-0.54%) and general interest services (-0.21%) showed the highest growth.
The largest volume of transactions was represented by Alfa Bank and Eurobank, trading 6,049,953 and 4,631,805 shares, respectively.
OPAP recorded the largest amount of transactions with 6.499 million euros and Alfa-Bank with 5.404 million euros.
72 stocks rose, 36 fell and 30 remained stable.
The largest growth was recorded in shares: Sato +19.23% and ANEK +17.19%.
The largest drop was registered for shares: Lavipharm -10.14% and Firatex -5.17%.
