After it was introduced and sold a few months ago in the American market, SUV Mercedes-Maybach EQS coming to Europe and the French market: Zoom in on this luxury electric SUV.

A cocoon of luxury and comfort

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV differs from the “regular” EQS SUV a distinctive Maybach livery : we find iconic elements such as the emblem or the special grille, as well as the brand’s typical two-tone paintwork with a filigree stripe, available in several combinations of contrasting shades. As an option, customers can also add the Night Series package, which adds elements painted in black and dark chrome.

The adaptive suspension has a special Maybach driving program that prioritizes comfort.
In the back there are two independent seats with different comfort settings, as well as a central console with a refrigerator. Still, two touch screenswith a diagonal of 11.6 inches, intended for rear passengers.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV: 658 horsepower and a range of 612 km

On the technology side, in addition to MBUX Hyperscreen infotainment system (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) and 3 screens integrated into the dashboard, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV also has digital car key, which allows you to lock, unlock and start the car using a compatible Apple device: iPhone or Apple Watch. You can also share your digital key with up to 16 people.
Under the hood are two electric motors with a total capacity of 658 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque, connected to 4Matic all-wheel drive. This cavalry makes it possible to swallow Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 secondsand all this for a top speed of 210 km/h, even if raw performance is not necessarily the philosophy of the Maybach model.
Its 400V battery provides a range up to 612 km, according to the WLTP cycle. It can be charged in 5.5 hours with a 22kW AC onboard charger or in around 30 minutes with a 22kW AC onboard charger. 200 kW in direct current. Thanks to the compatible high-power charging station, the range can be restored to 230 km in just 15 minutes of charging.
