The most expensive gasoline in the world is 2,864 euros per liter

It will not escape you: in recent years, the price of fuel reached records in our regions, creating a burden on the budget of the French, for whom the purchasing power is the lowest. In fact, the price of a liter of unleaded petrol averages €1,844 in France, compared to an average of €1,785 for diesel, according to the website. French motorists still suffer from an excessively high fuel tax, making France one of the most expensive countries in the world. But we are not the most lucky: there are other countries where fuel prices are even higher…

Countries where fuel is the most expensive in the world

In the world at the top of the rating are countries whereunleaded gasoline is the most expensive, we find Hong Kong with a price of 2.864 euros per liter, followed by Monaco with a price of 2.130 euros per liter and finally Iceland in third place with a price of 2.121 euros per liter. France is not far behind with a price of 1,844 euros.
On the side diesel, on the podium of countries where it costs the most, Hong Kong occupies the top spot (2,737 euros per liter), followed by Iceland (2,170 euros per liter) and Monaco in third place (2,110 euros per liter). France is not far behind – 1785 euros.
On the other side of the ranking, we find countries whereunleaded gasoline is the cheapestwith Iran, at a price of 0.026 euros per liter, followed by Libya, at a price of 0.029 euros per liter, and finally Venezuela in third place, at a price of 0.032 euros per liter.
On the side dieselon the pedestal of the countries where it costs the least is Venezuela, 0.004 euros per liter, followed by Iran, 0.005 euros per liter, and in third place is Libya, 0.029 euros per liter.

Generally, rich countries tend to have higher fuel prices, while poor and oil-producing countries have much lower prices.
