Having appeared on the market in 2021, Dacia Spring is currently enjoying great success. And the latter is not ready to stop.
New restyled Dacia Spring: at what price?
In fact, the small car was sold for more than 40 thousand copies since its launch and is one of the most registered models in the country. It was even the best-selling car in Europe for a while, even if it no longer qualifies for an environmental bonus in France due to its production in China. But don’t despair when the city car has just undergone a minor mid-career restyling to hope to stay in the race against its rivals. But what is the price of this version? At the moment we do not know which one is announced for France, but it has already been introduced in the United Kingdom. So what is this new price? From £14,995 that is approximately 17,550 euros, for the Expression Electric 45 version. As a reminder, the old Dacia Spring, which was not sold across the English Channel, cost from 18,400 euros in January. And again, a few weeks earlier, it was even more expensive, before the environmental bonus disappeared.
Dacia spring is still interesting
As such, the Spring has managed to position itself as an affordable option for British drivers looking to go electric. In France, the price should probably stay pretty close to what we just announced. Either way, the car needs to stay under €20,000 to compete with the recently unveiled electric Citroën ë-C3. However, it will also have to go up against the Renault 5 E-Tech, which intends to offer itself a place of choice in the electric city car market. With a range of approximately 230 kilometers and a charging time from 20% to 80% in 45 minutes, Spring offers a solution convenient for driving around the city or outside. Its spacious 308-litre boot, 65bhp engine and four seats make it a versatile choice. In addition, its driver assistance systems, such as the lane keeping system, ensure safe driving. Indeed, for such a price, the car has interesting standard equipment!
The first deliveries should begin in the coming months.
