
There fifth generation Mini Cooper has just started production at Mini’s English factory located in Oxford, England.

Since the launch of the first Mini of the modern era in 2001, more than 4.4 million copies 150,000 electric Minis were launched in the UK between 2019 and 2023.

The new Mini Cooper is the latest generation of British-built Mini, no less three manufacturing facilities located in Great Britain The BMW Group plant in Swindon, which produces castings and body assemblies, and the BMW Group plant in Hames Hall, North Warwickshire, which makes three and three-stroke petrol engines, contributed to this model. All these elements are finally assembled at Mini’s plant in Oxford, where bodywork, painting and final assembly also take place.
Two new 100% electric Minis from 2026

The exterior styling of the model is characterized by clean surfaces, short overhangs and a shortened hood, which, together with a long wheelbase, allow it to display the proportions typical of the Mini brand. Inside, a minimalistic atmosphere with three key elements: a round OLED display in the center, the new “Vescin” artificial leather steering wheel, as well as the control panel.
The first deliveries of the new Mini Cooper to customers are expected in spring 2024.
