
The German firm recently unveiled the final version of the AMG-signed Mercedes SL: the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance equipped with a hybrid engine that is the result of its Formula 1 know-how.

Aesthetically, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance particularly stands out from the rear thanks to the loading hatch integrated into the bumper, as well as the badges on a red background. There are also two fluted trapezoidal tailpipes, as well as “E Performance” badging on the fenders.
Under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 SE Performance is a hybrid engine consisting of a motor AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 at the front, and a 204-horsepower electric motor at the rear, not to mention the 400-volt, 6.1 kWh lithium-ion battery mounted above the rear axle.
