Many years have passed since Tesla arrived in France, since 2012, when the brand created the Model S here. And the interiors of the manufacturer’s cars have always been very similar, which is especially pleasing to owners. And, to be honest, there is no coincidence. And it is not for nothing that they are all signed by the same person, and this is none other than Peter Blades, the person responsible for the interiors of the brand’s cars. But there is a change in the air. Indeed, after a decade as an EV pioneer, Blades has announced his departure to join Launching Skyryse, specializing in new generation helicopters. The interior of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y with a central touch screen and an almost complete absence of buttons has become iconic. Peter Blades is the lead architect behind these minimalist and functional spaces. But today he turns the page and embarks on a new adventure.

What to expect?
In the official press release Skyryse informs about it Peter Blades will hold the position of vice president of design in the company. His mission? Having revolutionized the interior of the Skyryse One, an innovative helicopter, as well as contributing to the design of all future devices of the company. Blades himself had this to say about the move: “Joining Skyryse is a fantastic opportunity. The opportunity to combine such transformative technology with a bold new design vision is incredible and exciting.” But what about Tesla’s next cars? The departure of the Blades leaves a mystery surrounding the future of their interiors. The new design chief may make some big changes, but nothing has been confirmed yet. One thing is certain: Peter Blaydes’ legacy will be etched in the elegant curves of the Tesla as it soars to new horizons. However, it is undoubtedly worth expecting to find some changes in the design of the driver’s seats of future cars from the American manufacturer.
