
If you’ve never heard of it before, Revo Zero located near Arlington, Virginia, and strives to create a zero-emission vehicle that is as practical as a gasoline model. For this, this American startup relies on hydrogen, an energy that more and more players like Franco-Moroccan NamX are betting on.
His first model is called Revo Zero Energy : big Family SUV Length 5.08 meters, six seats. Its design is futuristic and quite massive, as evidenced by the first renderings, with a brutal contrast between refined surfaces, as well as muscular parts such as prominent rocker panels and wheel arches. The model also stands out with its light signature that extends to the wings, both front and rear.
Revo Zero Energy: record autonomy
On board, you can get into the car interior through opposite sliding side doorsand six places organized in three rows of independent seats, with a large and bright space thanks to the impressive glass surfaces and the panoramic glass roof. The interior is trimmed in leather, wood and carbon fiber, and several screens are integrated into the dashboard: a large vertical touchscreen in the center, as well as a large panoramic screen located in front of the driver, which is divided into several sections that allow control at your fingertips.
Revo Zero Energy is powered by an electric motor based on a hybrid battery and hydrogen fuel cell system called pFC technology (Or Fuel cell technology plug-in): indeed there are six 700 bar high-pressure hydrogen tanks, a fuel cell, and a high-voltage battery like an electric car. Together, two energy sources allow Range of 700 milesequivalent to approx 1127 kilometers.
Pre-orders are open
Revo Zero already exists open pre-orders of its Energy SUV, but the mystery still remains, as the model is currently presented only with 3D illustrations. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but interested customers can now pre-order their model with a $500 deposit.
Revo Zero also has other vehicle designs: a small hydrogen convertible called Electronwhich claims 724 km of autonomy, as well as a hydrogen crossover called Wrinkledwhich should offer 644 km of autonomy.
