On June 21, the parliamentarians unanimously approved the draft law of deputy Sasha Uliye, which paves the way for significant corrections in the process of obtaining a driver’s license.

One of the key measures of this law is is the integration of a personal training account (CPF) to fund a motorcycle license. Until now, only category B, C (goods) and D (passenger) licenses were eligible for funding through the CPF.

From 1^Er In January 2024, this option will be extended to A, A1, A2 (motorcycle licences), B1 (cars), B96 and BE (trailers) licences.

What is CPF?

As a reminder, CPF is a system that allows everyone to get advice and exercise their education rights. It is intended for everyone over the age of 16.

The first step is to create an account to view your received CPF entitlements. The second step is to mobilize your acquired rights in order, when the time comes, to finance the training, the motorcycle license within our subject that corresponds to your project.

CPF is automatically funded at the beginning of the year following the one worked. For one year of full-time employment, the amount of the CPF account increases by €500, within the limit of €5,000. In particular, for so-called “low-skilled” workers and those recognized as disabled workers, this amount is 800 euros, with an upper limit of 8,000 euros.

How to mobilize your CPF?

From January 1, 2024, you will be able to go to the official CPF website to choose to study for an A2 license that will allow you to drive a motorcycle with a power of up to 35 kW or 47.5 horses.

Knowing this the average cost of obtaining an A2 license is at least 1,000 euroswith no overtime in excess of 20 hours of driving, this can result in significant savings.
