Measure your tree
Make sure the tree you choose will fit safely in your car. Measure the length and width from inside the vehicle to ensure sufficient space.
Car interior protection
Place plastic sheeting, blankets or newspapers on the floor of the car protect the inner part of the needles and moisture of the tree.
Tree wrapping
Ask the seller to put a Christmas tree net or cover for easy transport. If this is not possible, take a blanket or tarp with you to wrap the Christmas tree.
Protect the tree tops
If the tree has sharp branches, be sure to protect them prevent damage to the car interior. Cardboard or blankets can be used to wrap the ends.
Set the tree correctly
Place the Christmas tree so that it is stable and does not slide or move during the trip. You can place it on non-slip cover or metal board for greater stability.
Open the windows
If a tree is sticking out of the back of the car, roll down the rear windows slightly to allow air circulation and reduce wind pressure on the tree.
If necessary, tie up the tree
If your Christmas tree is too big to fit completely inside the car, carefully attach it to the roof with a helper strong belts. Make sure it is securely fastened to avoid the risk of it falling during transport. If it protrudes too far back, install light or reflective devices to be seen from afar.
Drive safely
Drive carefully, avoiding sharp turns, obeying speed limits and without pressing either the brakes or the acceleratorto avoid splashing.
