Refueling is never fun. And for good reasons, it costs more and more, and above all, it takes time that we would like to devote to something else. Not to mention that it involves being outside for extended periods of time, even if it’s been particularly cold the past few weeks. But for a few days, you may have had a bit more trouble than usual finding petrol and diesel to fill your tank with. And you are not the only one, on the contrary.
Europe has agreed to end the heat engine by 2035. However, the fuel tax is an important source of revenue for the French state. https://t.co/M17WH4kOC3

A new strike
Don’t worry, you’re not crazy either, something is happening now. And for good reason, social movement is now in progress and interrupts the fuel supply. But what is the reason? Well, to be honest, it’s pretty simple. In fact, fuel carriers decided to go on strike as a sign of protest against the decision of TotalEnergies. The company actually decided to install cameras in transport trucks, which does not please the professionals at all. In any case, this is how Nicolas Shamo, general secretary of GTC Yvelines, explains.
How long ?
The latter really believes that ” this poses a problem in terms of privacy and downtime as they will be constantly filming“. TotalEnergies does not wish to comment on this issue at this time. But how long will this social movement last? Well, for now the answer remains unknown. It remains to be seen whether other departments will join Ile-de-France, currently the only one affected lack of fuelwhich still remains under control.
