We need to know more about strategy Honda for electric cars CES 2024 exhibition (Consumer Electronics Show): In fact, the Japanese manufacturer has announced that it will present at the big annual American technology trade show, a new line of electric cars intended for international markets.

AND the first photo teaser announces Honda’s presence at this event, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 9-12, 2024, with a view of the front and the wheel of the car with very awkward lines: however, we do not know if this one is a concept car or a production car model, but it likely heralds the return of neo-retro design inspired by cars from the 1970s.

Honda: a new line of electric cars is coming

Honda invites us to attend a press conference scheduled for the Honda booth (booth #10015) at CES, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. (local time): On this occasion, Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe, together with his vice president Shinji Aoyama, will present Honda’s vision of an EV-based society and tell us more about the brand’s new range of EVs.

At its booth at CES 2024, as well as on the website dedicated to the event, Honda will present several products, among which we will reveal 100% electric models designed for a global career, but also several technologies which embody Honda’s transformation strategy and the continued electrification of its vehicles.

Honda aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, for all products and activities of the company. For this, the Japanese manufacturer continues the electrification of its cars and strives “increase the share of electric vehicles and VEPC in global sales to 100%”until 2040.

In this context, the brand recently stopped selling its first electric car, the Honda e, in Europe due to lack of sufficient sales. It is enough to focus on new models of electric SUVs, among which we find the Honda e:Ny1, as well as a new SUV, the prototype of which is the Honda Prologue concept, recently presented and scheduled for 2025 in our regions.
