This winter, Mercedes offers its customers a unique experience withThe AMG experience on ice : Contestants will travel to Arjeplog, Sweden to get behind the wheel of Mercedes-AMG models on the frozen Haltisjöre lake. The pleasure of driving will be together snow and ice sessionsin Swedish Lapland, and guests will stay in a 4-star hotel with a sauna and bar, as well as “culinary highlights”.

With the support of professionals, participants will be able to enjoy driving Mercedes-AMG models on ice more than 60 centimeters thick to learn to drive them safely, including workshops on braking behavior and handling precision on icy surfaces. Participants will also be tested on a track that replicates the famous Nordschleife of the Nürburgring circuit.

Different driving courses for all levels

The AMG Experience on Ice is designed for all levels of driving experience and offers several levels of difficulty, regardless of whether participants are novice or experienced pilots. The Performance and Advanced courses allow you to develop the theory through practical exercises and then allow you to access the Pro levels, which introduce you to challenging driving situations.

The Performance, Performance Weekend and Performance Plus programs are designed for 3-4 days and are offered from February to March 2024. The Advanced Weekend and Advanced Week programs are designed for 4-5 days and are offered from January to March 2024. Finally, the Pro and Pro Plus programs cover 5 days and are offered from January to March 2024.

Mercedes-AMG models on test

Depending on the events, participants will be offered to sit behind the wheel Mercedes-AMG models diverse and diverse: the German manufacturer especially has the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, C 63 SE Performance, GT 63 S 4-door Coupé, SL 63, not forgetting the new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Coupé.

For off-road enthusiasts, Mercedes also offers another program called G-class winter expedition : for four days, participants will explore Sweden off the beaten track, between the northern cities of Arvidsjaur and Kiruna, driving training aboard a Mercedes G-Class 500, Mercedes-AMG G 63 or Mercedes-AMG G 4×4², a night at the Icehotel, and a walk on a snowmobile in the dark.
