Mobilization begins a new era. Renault group mobility brandcreated in 2021 according to the Renaulution plan, should ultimately offer soft mobility solutions designed for both individuals and professionals. Electric ATVs, mini-cars, autonomous shuttles : completely separated from the activities of Renault, Dacia and Alpine, the brand has been teasing us for several years with its first models: Duo and Bento. The first is a mini electric city car that aims to to compete with the Citroën Ami : offers two seats in a reduced size, more than 100 kilometers of autonomy and, above all, an affordable price! It will also be available in a “utility” version. named Bento (competitor of Ami Cargo) which Mobilize just presented at the Solutrans Show in Lyon!
New competitor for Citroën Ami
Visually, Bento is a duo we’ve rounded up large cargo trunk in the back. It is designed for handymen, maintenance workers or workers who have to do jobs interventions in urban or suburban areas, especially in places where traffic is heavy and/or parking is difficult. Thanks to its reduced dimensions, the Bento can be parked sideways in a parking space and takes up only a third of its space: ideal for parking between two “normal” sized cars. Mobilize claims a loading volume of one cubic meter and 80 kg of payload. Over time, several options for the location of the cargo space will be possible to meet the needs of as many people as possible.
Mini-electricity
On board Bento has been designed to get you the essentials: single seat, airbag and air conditioning. Mechanically, this quad bike is 100% electric: it’s capable drive up to 80 km/h, and hold 140 kilometers on one charge. Mobilize has remained pretty coy about its power and charging times, but we do know that it will be able to plug into a home outlet or Type 2 terminal (WallBox or public company and administration terminals). No information on call rates is provided: in comparison, the Citroën Ami Cargo can be traded in for €8,390 excluding delivery. Mobilize Bento will be sold in France from the first half of 2024.
