A few weeks ago, a Norwegian specialist Zaptec announced the launch of charging stations for electric vehicles on the French market, adapting its products to the standards in force in France, and established strategic partnerships with installers, operators, resellers and certifiers.

Zaptec Pro: a smart and flexible system

The products offered by Zaptec have been developed in Norway for eleven years and also meet the needs of the French market to accelerate the energy transition. Including Zaptec Pro is a connected intelligent charging station designed for car parks of companies, public facilities (ERP), car parks and condominiums.

It combines a dynamic charging solution and a patented intelligent phase balancing system. In practice, the Zaptec system constantly collects a lot of information, such as: the charging capacity of each electric vehicle, their actual consumption, consumption by other vehicles present in the installation, electricity consumption by other equipment in the parking lot, as well as consumption in each phase of the electrical installation.

This information allows Zaptec algorithms to manage and optimize the distribution of energy between each charging point, as well as to guarantee efficient, fair and economical charging for users, regardless of the number of installed terminals. Thus, the Zaptec Pro system flexible and scalable : when the park to be equipped grows, then it is enough to add additional charging points without predicting the expensive costs of updating the electrical network.

A growing company

Founded in 2012, Zaptec is a growing company and has just broken new economic records. In fact, the third quarter of 2023 recorded a Increase in turnover by 86%.to NOK 421 million, equivalent to approximately EUR 35.7 million: the best quarter in the company’s history.

Since the beginning of 2023, Zaptec’s turnover has exceeded the mark of one billion Norwegian kroner, which is equivalent to approximately 84.7 million euros. During the same period, the number of orders increased by 37% compared to last year, which will allow the Norwegian specialist to accelerate production: “Zaptec France will contribute to the company’s results in the coming months, starting operations in September with Zaptec Pro”concludes Vianney Devien, CEO of Zaptec France.
