do you know Mobilize ? Officially in 2021 the fourth brand belonging to the Renault group, after Renault, Dacia and Alpine. As the name suggests, it is dedicated to new mobility, alternatives to traditional cars. An electric quad bike, a passenger car with a driver, a mini city SUV and much more “on demand”. Four models have already been announced for 2025 : a replacement for the current two-seater Twizy (Duo or Bento in cargo version), an urban crossover (the contours of which are yet to be determined), an electric SUV (which may use Renault’s EZ-Flex electric concept), and electric sedan designed for taxi and VTC drivers: Limousine.

An electric sedan designed for drivers…

This is the fruit of a a joint venture between Renault and the Chinese manufacturer Jiangling Motors. Called JMEV, it’s about collaborative development 100% electric cars. Therefore, this model is not a new model, but a redesigned version by Mobilize for the JMEV Yi, which will be sold in China from 2022. It was from this same year that we began to see examples of the JMEV Yi in Paris. and is currently being tested on our roads. The ability to adapt our settings to our comfort and behavioral constraints, and to start testing it (so in pre-production copies) for the main stakeholders: the drivers. The idea is to officially on sale from 2024.

… which will ultimately never be released to the market

To attract customers, Renault counted on an offer from long-term lease of 36 months and 150,000 km, including insurance, service and support. But you would have to pay for it 1499 euros per month.
