These puncture-resistant models for less than 15,000 euros Auto Plus news in your smartphone Auto Plus news in your inbox

Two years ago, the used car market had not yet exploded. If you had €15,000 to put down on a used car, you had a huge choice of hybrid and electric cars. Today, this is no longer the case, because the prices for this type of vehicle have also increased, and not a little.

In our selection you will find five models equipped with a simple heat engine. For this, we had the same reliability requirements. Fragile models that are incriminated by our own barometer are excluded.

Dacia Duster 2

  • Engine : 1.3 TCe
  • fuel : The essence
  • Fiscal authority Power: 7 HP
  • DIN power : 130 hp
  • Maximum speed : 180 km/h
  • Consumption : 7.2 l/100 km
  • Crit’Air : 1
  • Saw used : We saw the 2019 version of the Prestige with 63,000 km at a price of €15,490.

The second generation Dacia Duster is reborn with a 1.3 TCe engine. Lively, restrained and restrained engine. The latter is also, and above all, much more reliable than the old engine, namely the 1.2 TCe. The icing on the cake is that we mostly associate it with the Prestige finish. Trim, well-equipped, at prices close to those of the Essential. The Prestige Duster 2 is adorned with aluminum wheels, GPS, rear view camera and automatic air conditioning.

Ford Focus 4

  • Engine : 1.0 EcoBoost
  • fuel : The essence
  • Fiscal authority : 6 HP
  • DIN power Power: 125 hp
  • Maximum speed : 182 km/h
  • Consumption : 6.9 l/100 km
  • Crit’Air : 1
  • Saw used : We saw the 2018 Titanium version with 52,000 km at a price of €15,390.

Please note that the Ford Focus, equipped with a 1.0 EcoBoost engine with a capacity of 125 hp, gives the German sedan a lot of driving pleasure without consuming too much. However, a manual transmission is preferred because with an automatic transmission, this engine loses the two qualities we just mentioned. The Titanium Focus is equipped, among other things, with GPS and dual-zone air conditioning.

Mercedes A class

  • Engine : 180 CDI 7G-DCT
  • fuel : Diesel
  • Fiscal authority : 5 HP
  • DIN power Power: 109 hp
  • Maximum speed : 186 km/h
  • Consumption : 6.4 l/100 km
  • Crit’Air :2
  • Saw used : We saw the 2015 version of the Sensation with 102,000 km at a price of €15,490.

Please note that the A-Class of this generation is mainly offered with a diesel engine. The best choice will be to take the last one with the 7G-DCT automatic transmission. Some Mercedes of this generation, and in particular the A-Class, had original Renault engines, including the 1.5 dCi. The 180 DCI engine is really the engine we recommend, it’s really a Mercedes engine. Of course, both units are strong, on the other hand, Mercedes is more pleasant to drive. I preferred the Sensation trim, which is better equipped than the Intuition and Inspiration versions.

Peugeot 3008 “2”

  • Engine : 1.5 BlueHDi
  • fuel : Diesel
  • Fiscal authority : 6 HP
  • DIN power : 130 hp
  • Maximum speed : 180 km/h
  • Consumption : 6 l/100 km
  • Crit’Air :2
  • Saw used : We saw the 2018 Active Business version with 105,000 km at a price of €16,490.

How to qualify the Peugeot 3008 of the second generation. Given its success, it can be considered the star of compact SUVs. And the good news: it is becoming more and more affordable on the second-hand market. Please note, choose the 1.5 engine to replace the 1.6 BlueHDi which had issues with the AdBlue tank. In this budget, you have access to Business versions with a mileage of around 100,000 euros.

Seat Arona

  • Engine Engine: 1.0 TSI DSG
  • fuel : The essence
  • Fiscal authority : 6 HP
  • DIN power Power: 115 hp
  • Maximum speed : 184 km/h
  • Consumption : 6.5 l/100 km
  • Crit’Air : 1
  • Saw used : We saw the 2018 version of the Xcellence with 65,000 km at a price of €16,490.

The Seat Arona is a cousin of the Volkswagen T-Cross. The advantage of the Seat is that it is much more affordable used than the VW. Equipped with a 1.0 diesel engine, you will be able to make long trips without the slightest problem. In terms of finish, you can opt for the Xcellence versions, which cost the same as the Style version. However, the Xcellence is better equipped with GPS, dual-zone air conditioning and a reversing radar.
