The year 2023 was rich in new electrical products, and 2024 will be no exception. Here are the most important new features we can expect.

Alfa Romeo Brennero

In the process of complete transformation since the integration into the Stellantis group in 2021, Alfa Romeo is preparing the transition to electricity. His very first model will not be a coupe or a sports car, but a small B-segment crossover, which could take the name of Brennero. It will be based on the Jeep Avenger and Fiat 600 platform.dand must restore the 156 hp engine.

Alpine A290

The first 100% electric Alpine, The A290 will actually be a “sporty” Renault 5 E-Tech. We don’t yet know what sporting claims it will have, but in any case, it will have to face several foreign competitors in the coming years. Volkswagen ID.2X, MG 4 XPower, Abarth 500dor even a Mini Cooper JCW.

BYD Dolphin

The Chinese manufacturer BYD continues its offensive in Europeas well as in France, and given the success of its rival MG, it will be offered from next year a compact electric car called Dolphin. This rival of the Volkswagen ID.3 and the Renault Mégane E-Tech should have a strong argument compared to its European rivals: its price!

DS Aero Sport Lounge

We’ve been promised this for years, it seems 2024 will finally be his hour of glory. The first 100% electric model from DS will be a large family crossoverwhich can offer up to 7 seats, with autonomy up to 700 kilometers. It will be heavily inspired by the DS Aero Sport Lounge concept introduced in 2020.

Jeep Recon

The second 100% electric Jeep model after the Avenger: intelligence. This compact crossover with the look of an adventurer is a must allow the brand to continue its promotion in the high-end market in Europe. Jeep thought and designed it that way a real 4X4 move, true to its DNA. Let’s wait and see if this will be incompatible with its electric motor and especially with its weight.

MG Cyberster

It was finally introduced in its production version a few months ago : MG’s Cyberster roadster, 100% electric, is a tribute into the glorious past of what was once a British brand and offered its TR3, TR6 and Mitget roadsters. The Cyberster is a fun model compared to the more pragmatic creations on the power market. Hope this gives ideas to other builders

Mini Iceman

After the electric Cooper, The second Mini electric model will be a small premium crossover, called Aceman and presented as a concept at the beginning of the year at the Brussels Motor Show. It will – like the Cooper – be available in one sports version of John Cooper Works. We are already counting on autonomy inclusively from 300 to 400 kilometers about.

Peugeot e-3008

Just presented in Munich, Peugeot e-3008 will enter our network next year. Now, given the profile of a coupe, it will become a new competitor to the Renault Scénic E-Tech. Peugeot has equipped it with a large-capacity battery, which allows range up to 700 kilometers ! Its big brother, the 5008, more of an MPV type, will be unveiled a few months after its launch.

Renault 5 E-Tech

The concept of the same name was teased in 2021, the electric Renault 5 E-Tech will be introduced next year. Replacing the Zoé, it will be an electric alternative to the Clio in the B segment. It will play on nostalgia, with neo-retro design inspired by the original R5like the upcoming R4.

Renault Scénic E-Tech

We talked to you about this above, Renault’s new electric family crossover, this is it: Scénic E-Tech. It’s Scénic in name only, being more SUV than minivan. It will be an electric alternative to the current Austral and Arkana in the C segment, offering up to 620 kilometers of autonomy.

Volkswagen ID.7

Finally, and also already revealed, 2024 will see the arrival the new Volkswagen ID.7, a large sedan that will replace the Passat, disappeared from the catalog (except for the universal version). Volkswagen announces the ranges included from 620 to 700 kilometers depending on the size of the selected battery. A sporty version called the ID.7X will be launched in a few months.
