While more and more motorists and bikers use their smartphones as a GPS navigation system, with the help of such successful applications as Waze or Google Maps, BMW Motorrad is distinguished by the presentation of Fr ConnectedRide navigatorAND connected GPS navigator specially designed for their motorcycles.

The BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator is shaped like a separate box with a 5.5-inch touch screen, which provides high brightness to ensure optimal readability in direct sunlight. This screen is ideal for BMW Motorrad motorcycles and displays the same light intensity, reflection and anti-glare coating as the TFT on-board screen.

BMW Motorrad: connected GPS navigation system

Before you hit the road, simply mount it on a special support and lock it with a motorcycle key, it can also be easily charged with USB-C cable included, and charging current up to 2.4 A.

As the name suggests, the BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator system is connected and allows you to do just that synchronize your routes and trips with the BMW Motorrad Connected appwhile being able to be updated remotely at any time. To do this, the user must share a connection with a smartphone, a Wi-Fi network, or even install a SIM card inside. The same applies to traffic information, which is updated in real time.

ConnectedRide Navigator also allows you to control all smartphone functions, such as media applications (Spotify, etc.) or even phone functions. The user can, for example, adjust the volume, as well as call personal contacts saved on the smartphone, directly on the Navigator.

Compatible with most BMW motorcycles

Other BMW devices can also be connected to the navigator via Bluetooth and controlled accordingly via its touchscreen: these include driver and passenger helmets or BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide smart glasses.

The new ConnectedRide Navigator is already available on the BMW Motorrad network and is compatible with most BMW motorcycles produced since 2014provided they have a multi-controller and navigation preparation, or that the latter has been upgraded as an accessory.
