Tesla Model 3: Can you change your current order to the new model? News from Auto Plus in your smartphone News from Auto Plus in your mailbox

You order a car and unfortunately your sales representative didn’t tell you that the new version should arrive in the coming weeks. In most cases, if the car is not manufactured, you will be able to automatically benefit from the restyling without even contacting your dealer.

When it comes to a true new model (what’s called a new generation), sometimes with significant price changes and big changes in terms of design and technology, it can be distinguished by the simple fact that it’s actually a new car.

Tesla decided to keep things simple

1Er Last September, Tesla presented the long-awaited restyled Model 3. You can find all the news about this model in our special topic. As you can see, aesthetic changes have taken place. And if you want to take advantage of this when you’ve already ordered your new Tesla Model 3, how does it work?

To answer this question, we contacted Tesla France, which did not take long to walk around the roof: all pending Tesla Model 3 orders are automatically reverted to the upgraded version.

A profitable offer for already made orders

And good news for those who ordered the “old” version and have not yet received it, Tesla will not apply price increases for the restyling model. Indeed, on the occasion of the presentation of the Highland model, prices increased by 1,000 euros, from 41,990 euros to 42,990 euros.

Thus, if you ordered a Tesla Model 3 before the presentation of the restyling version and it has not yet been delivered to you, you will get the benefit of the new model at the price of the old one.
