Is Tesla having a big sale going on? After the drop in the price of the Model 3 a few months ago (in preparation for the appearance of the new Highland model) and already arranged for the Model S and X, these two top models once again saw their prices melt like snow in the sun.

Let’s just say that when they returned to the French catalog at the beginning of the year, Tesla was not there with the back of the spoon. 113,990 euros for the Tesla Model S Grande Autonomie, 138,990 euros for the 1020 hp Plaid, 121,990 euros for the Model X and 141,990 euros for its Plaid version. Last April, all these prices dropped by €10,000 and were then adjusted.

€29,000 less for a Tesla Model S Plaid in a few months

But today, Tesla is generously reducing prices. The Model S Grande Autonomie, on display again yesterday for €106,490, is now priced 94,990 euros, while Plaid claims €109,990. Compared to the market entry, the price of the most powerful Tesla has dropped by 29,000 euros.

The Model X is not immune to this impressive price drop, as it is listed at 99,990 eurosa sudden drop of €13,500, while the Plaid version is listed at €114,990, down from €131,990 a few hours earlier.

Variations that raise doubts among customers?

In terms of price reductions, Tesla often goes very hard with quite impressive discounts that often worry buyers, fearing for the residual value of their model. All this, without taking into account that within a few weeks, often, they could save several thousand euros.

On the other hand, when Tesla raises prices, it’s also impressive, but a little slower. In particular, we remember the very large increase in the price of the Tesla Model 3 in 2022, with a total increase of 13,000 euros (including the termination of the environmental bonus) in a few months.
