For adventurers unsatisfied with the cozy comforts of traditional camping, a new era of freedom is upon us with the all-new Volkswagen Amarok PanAmericana.

Unveiled with great fanfare at the Dusseldorf recreational vehicle show, the Volkswagen Amarok PanAmericana is much more than just a variation of the pick-up truck of the same name. If its cousin, the California, is more about comfort or even a bit of luxury, Amarok PanAmericana aims to conquer the most hostile territoriesoffering an alliance between all-terrain and nomadic spirit.

A king in nature?

Imagine yourself at the top of a mountain range with your tent on the roof, enjoying breathtaking views as you are lulled by the gentle breeze. This is exactly the kind of experience Amarok PanAmericana offers thanks to carefully selected equipment, in particular Alu-Cab hardtop, roof awning and 270 degree tilting awning with sleeping space for two.

The Amarok PanAmericana is distinguished by its rugged appearance with BF Goodrich AT tires specially adapted for steep terrain. LED optics mounted on the roof, combined with additional headlights, ensure that the roads remain safe. This off-road incarnation was designed and manufactured by Genesis Import, a German company known for its expertise in vehicle outfitting.

The most expensive Volkswagen Amarok?

Under the hood we find the famous 3.0-liter V6 TDI 240 horsepower and 600 Nm. With all-wheel drive and a locking differential on the rear axle, this machine is ready to tackle steep trails, muddy rivers and rocky trails without flinching.

With base price 69,000 euros in Germany, Amarok PanAmericana is not available to everyone. In France, it is unlikely to avoid an environmental fine because it does not meet the VASP approval standards intended for cars with full interior equipment. In other words, this extreme all-terrain vehicle is both a promise of freedom and a significant investment.
