Recall campaigns have probably always existed. And it is not for nothing that they consist in the fact that the owners of certain models ask to return their car to the workshop to eliminate a problem that the manufacturer discovered after it was put on the road. These are problems that are common to many copies and need to be fixed as soon as possible. Unfortunately, no brand will be spared, even those with the most reliable reputation. But in any case, the owners will not have to spend anything, because everything was taken care of the manufacturer, who undertakes to restore the car to its original state.

A whimsical reminder
After Toyota, Ferrari or even Ford and Kia, this time Peugeot is making headlines. To tell the truth, this is far from the first time, since a few months ago the manufacturer was already the subject of a recall due to the risk of fire. This time the problem is completely different, even completely opposite. Indeed, this is where the risk of freezing poses a problem for two models: Traveler and Expert. Both utilities are created on the same technical basis, so they face the same problems. If you have a diesel unit manufactured between 30 January 2020 and 22 April 2021, you may be affected.
A rare problem
The problem in question concernsAdBlue. This additive, found in diesel engines, is at risk of freezing if the vehicle is exposed to temperatures that are too low. As a rule, there is a mechanism capable of heating it. But it does not work on both utilities. Then it must be repaired or replaced during operation, the duration of which is not yet known. This is fully supported by the manufacturer, with no upfront cost to customers.
