The new Alfa Romeo supercar will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at an event organized by Alfa Romeo at the Arese Museum.
The event called “Dare to Dream” was confirmed by the boss of the brand, Jean-Philippe Imparato, who, on the occasion of the presentation of the new Giulia and Stelvio in China, called “a dream come true, inspired by a brave team that wanted to create something unique”.
After 4C and 8C place 6C?
At the moment, information about this new sports car signed by Alfa Romeo, whose presentation coincides with the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monza, is sparse, but there are many rumors a coupe inspired by the historic 33 Stradale, which will be produced in a limited series. According to some data, all copies of this model have already been sold out.
As for the engine, though, some doubts remain, although the “6C” name may hint at one 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. It remains to be seen whether it will develop more than 520 hp. the current Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
Rare and expensive?
As Jean-Philippe Imparato himself said, the new Alfa Romeo sports car will not only be a car designed for the track, it will also be built for everyday use, “iconic, sexy and instantly recognizable as an Alfa Romeo”.
The price of this Alfa 6C has also not been affected, but one can imagine that such a limited edition car could join the very exclusive club of cars priced close to half a million euros.
