June 2023 ends with good news for Stellantis France : Automotive group sales rose 4.9%, accelerating growth compared to previous months. Stellantis is like that the market leader in June and cumulatively in 2023 in terms of sales, with 5 PC models in the TOP 10 of the market.

This shows that the models of all Stellantis brands meet the expectations of consumers. This end of the semester proves that Stellantis France is on the offensive to support customers towards electromobility with a wide range of models related to adaptive charging services.”said Christophe Musey, director of Stellantis France.

Stellantis: a successful commercial offensive

Stellantis is leading a commercial offensive that allows it to remain the market leader (passenger cars + light trucks), with 30% of the market for the month of June and 31.4% for the year 2023 as a whole. These encouraging figures were recorded in a difficult context where logistical constraints still exist but tend to improve.

On the side light commercial vehicles, Stellantis maintains a leading position in the French market, having at least 6 models in the TOP-10 market. In June and in 2023, the company had a market share of over 40% (41.3% for the month and 40.9% overall), 10 points ahead of the 2nd place and a very significant increase of +36.7% in June 2023.

THE premium brands from Stellantis contributed to these good results: DS Automobiles showed good performance, DS 7 and DS 4 plug-in hybrids respectively number 1 and 2 in the Premium market. Alfa Romeo sales double and Jeep sales up 47% compared to June 2022, hitting 2-year all-time high. The Jeep Avenger, hailed as the car of 2023, has a successful launch.

Stellantis: successful 100% electric models

For the month of June or for the first half of 2023 as a whole, Stellantis ranks first sale of 100% electric modelswhich is 41% more since the beginning of the year (PC+LCV volumes).

The Peugeot e-208 and Fiat 500e are among the TOP-5 best-selling 100% electric cars (combined PC + LCV), thanks in particular to attractive commercial offers aimed at democratizing electric mobility: individual rental Peugeot e -208 up to €150 or Fiat 500e up to 99 € without contribution.

As for light commercial vehicles, Stellantis offers a complete offering and confirms its position as market leader with 46.3% penetration in 2023. The Peugeot brand also holds the top spot in electric light commercial vehicles for the month starting in June 2023.
