As a farewell, the American manufacturer launches a the ultimate special series Chevrolet Camaro, chr Collector’s edition. It draws inspiration from the program codename of the first Camaro, Panther (project XP836):

“We thought it only fitting that this Collector’s Edition Camaro officially acknowledge the importance of the original codename and share it with Camaro enthusiasts”said Rich Shear, director of design for Chevrolet Performance: “Of course, the Panther name influenced the colors used: Panther Black Metallic for the SS and Panther Matte Black for the ZL1. »

Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition: an exclusive version

This Collector’s Edition Chevrolet Camaro will be offered in LT/RS, LT1 and SS trims with a new black body color “Panther Black Metallic” contrasts with Satin Black decorative stripes, 20-inch Satin Black wheels or optional polished forged wheels, not to mention the 1LE’s front spoiler, while the coupe will get the ZL1’s rear spoiler.

The Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition ZL1, equipped with a 650-horsepower LT4 engine, will be produced in limited edition of 350 units : It will feature Panther Matte Black, the first matte paint finish for a production Camaro. It will also share the front spoiler from the ZL1 1LE and the rear spoiler from the ZL1 1LE on the coupe, not to mention the ZL1’s black metallic stripe, red brake calipers and black wheel nuts. On board, 350 copies of the Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition will be equipped with a special plate with a number on the steering wheel.

On the other hand, the Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition will have a specific acronym on the front bumper that includes the panther in the letter “R”, not to mention the panther on the steering wheel badge. There will also be special floor mats with an engraved aluminum “Collector’s Edition” badge, as well as special black inserts on the dashboard.

Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition: Comes with goodies

All Camaro Collector’s Edition customers will receive a welcome kit that includes two posters paying homage to all generations of the Camaro as well as the Collector’s Edition.

Owners of the Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition will also receive it Clock A custom 45mm Canfield Sport by Shinola, in special edition colors and engraved with a serial number that matches the number on the badge on the model’s steering wheel.

Similar to the Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition, this never-before-seen souvenir watch features Camaro and panther designs, a panther-engraved strap, and the Camaro logo on the dial.
