Brand new app

Portugal now has a solution. Of course, the ethical aspect is obviously very questionable, but at least it is quite effective. This is an application whose name can be translated as ” Parking report“. But specifically, how does it work? It’s actually very simple as this one is for report to the police if you notice a poorly parked car. The police explain that they monitor every citizen’s appeal submitted on this platform. And this one seems to have already been a big success since its creation in 2017.

Numerous offenses

Indeed, and as reported by the site PPlwareIn just three months, from January to March 2017, more than a thousand complaints were filed in Lisbon alone. Today, this application is available throughout the country and provides for several types of offenses. Among them is parking in a place for the disabled or in front of a traffic light. After that, each complaint is reviewed one by one by the authorities, who then compile a detailed report of what happened. By the way, inconvenient parking is punishable by a fine of 35 euros.
