The start of the season for the Aston Martin Formula 1 team was interesting to say the least, the Spanish driver, two-time world champion Fernando Alonso, who managed to climb the podium four times out of five Grand Prix, was very interesting.

To mark this great beginning, Gaydon presents the DBX707 AMR23 Editiona special version of the most powerful SUV in the entire line.

Inspired by the track

Developed by the Aston Martin Q division, The DBX707 AMR23 is inspired by this season’s single seater and official medical car. The model is distinguished by the color “Podium Green” and “Q by Aston Martin” badges, as well as a body kit made of carbon fiber.

The racing green braking system matches the exterior color, while the luxury interior features Inspire Sport fabric in two shades: Onyx Black and Eifel Green. The package is completed by dark satin, carbon fiber elements and AMR23 logo on the door sills.

Small changes

Aston Martin says it has also revised the chassis and some mechanicals, making minor changes to the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electronics and aerodynamics, without going into details.

As a reminder, the “standard” Aston Martin DBX707 is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. 707 hp and 900 Nmallowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just one moment 3.1 seconds and reach maximum speed 310 km/h. All this is combined with a new 9-speed automatic transmission, a strengthened chassis and improved shock absorbers equipped with the eARC system to eliminate any form of body roll.

The manufacturer has not even revealed the price of this special version, but it will surely cost more than the 260,000 euros claimed for the “base” DBX707.
