The presentation of the Aston Martin DB12, the direct successor to the DB11, is just over two weeks away. An important model for the Gaydon company, which will give the starting signal for a new, very wide range.

As Aston Martin boss Lawrence Stroll said at the Future of the Car Summit organized by the Financial Times, the British firm is preparing to release seven more new models by 2026in addition to the DB12, the rate is more than two new models per year.

Several GT, but not only

“We will introduce new technologies, integrate elements from Formula 1 and continue to develop in the high market with more luxurious models”said Lawrence Strohl about future Aston Martin models. So these new features will appear in the upcoming DB12, as well as the next Vantage and DBS with various variants.

The manager then announced the arrival of a model identified as “above GT”. A unique Aston Martin, capable of combining “High level of luxury and performance”. All these models will be equipped with new innovative technologies and will meet the demand of consumers in this area.

Among the new Aston Martin, naturally there will be an electric sports car. Slated for 2025, we don’t know much about it yet, but we should learn more on June 27th during an investor press conference.

From Formula 1 to the road

At the top of the range should be a new mid-engine hypercarclosely related technically to the Formula 1 single-seat car. We are not talking about the Valkyrie or even the Valhalla, for which Aston Martin plans to produce 1,200 to 1,500 units annually, but about a new model that is even more exclusive.

She can be the most expensive Aston Martin in historywith an estimated price of around three million pounds sterling (approximately 3.4 million euros).
