
The Lynk & Co range will soon expand in Europe with the launch of Lynk & Co 08, an SUV better known internally under the code name “DX11”. Indeed, since the Lynk & Co 01 is only offered for rental from 2020, the Chinese manufacturer has not enriched its European range, unlike the domestic market, which has a wider range.
The Swedish firm of the Geely group is gradually revealing information about its new model, and now we can get a closer look at the first shots of its interior and exterior styling. Length 4.82 metersAt 1.92 meters wide and 1.69 meters tall, all for a 2.85 meter wheelbase, this new SUV has a rather futuristic style.
Lynk & Co 08: futuristic style
There is a rather chunky yet refined styling, with a unique light signature that gives it a supercar look. In profile, the door handles are flush, and the wheel arches are equipped with glossy black plastic protection that only covers their upper part.
The doors have another gloss black plastic insert at the bottom, while the front door has a mirror whose leg extends into the vertical gloss black plastic insert, offering unique aesthetics to the model.
At the rear, there’s a sloping roofline that lends a sporty look, while the light signature extends across the width of the boot and beyond as it extends laterally onto the rear fenders. The roof and its arches are also painted black, which helps to visually lighten the lines of the car.
Lynk & Co 08: Technology Concentration
There are wraparound seats on board, the white upholstery of which contrasts with the elegant copper-colored inserts found throughout the cabin.
The audio system is signed by Harman Kardon, while there is an infotainment system Meizu Flyme Auto the most modern, integrated into a large Touch screen 15.4 inches placed in the center of the instrument panel completing a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.
Lynk & Co 08 which shares The CMA 2.0 platform The next-generation Volvo XC60 will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid engine, available in two versions: 390 and 664 horsepowerin combination with a Battery 17.2 kWh.
More information about Lynk & Co 08 will be released soon. It is expected to be commercialized third quarter of 2023 in Asiabefore joining the European market in 2024.
